I think we should start an "Adopt-a-Grumpy-Biker" program.

RE: Don't Tell Me You Adopted an Animal
I prefer the term "rescue" personally. My wife and I rescued a dog from a kill shelter in Georgia this past weekend as a matter of fact. What drives me up the wall is when childless people use the term "fur kid" to describe their pets. Sure, pets can sometimes require a great deal of work and patience but as the father of two actual human children I can tell you for sure that it pales in comparison and is nowhere near equivalent.

RE: Don't Tell Me You Adopted an Animal
I plan to adopt a cat that has adopted an attitude so it will comfort me about adoption laws that don't force our country to adopt new regulations on adoptions of animals. But either way I will adopt a "I-could-care-less" attitude to the ever changing meaning of words, unlike some people here. Tongue

Yup. Just try locking your kids in a crate while you go to work...

How is this thread a thing? I mean seriously.

Check out my now-defunct atheism blog. It's just a blog, no ads, no revenue, no gods.
