Dreams do talk

Dreams is just the shit which results from the brain deciding which of the day's events to move from short-term to long-term memory. They're just detritis but you are free to read into them what you will.

I guess it's reasonable to examine them and say, "Wait, why the fuck am I throwing that out? I want to keep it."

Agreed. Here's another reasonable question:

If dreaming is just your mind throwing the garbage out, then why do I sometimes
dream the same thing every night for a week?

I don't think it is so easy GirlyMan. Our psychology is much more complex than that. I don't think that dreams are simply the process of throwing stuff away. And I am not just simply interpreting what I want, taking (again) the dream I talked about in the first post, that was pretty clear, Freud would have had a lot of fun with it because it was about my mother

And I had people telling me their dreams where it was super clear what's going on, too.
