Even better cover for killing them. "Drone? That was a drone? I though it was a wasp and I got it with a fly swatter!"

I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best.

Droning
I guess I'll have to buy a drone killing drone to patrol my property. I'll have it catch the bug sized ones in a net so I can make a shadow box with them.

But, there are rules...

And my rule is that I will shoot down a snooping drone.

Bet you what I could find an excellent lawyer to take that case. I am most certainly not alone with my sentiment about snoops.

First off - by your unfamiliarity of the subject ( it's glaringly obvious you have no first hand experience with this technology) - how are you going to tell a "snooping" quad copter, from one that is simply being flown for the fun of it???

MOST of these hobby grade units do NOT have video on board.

Just shoot em all and let God sort out em out????

You do realize you have no dominion over the airspace above your property, don't you???

Also...

You might want to see what the FAA says....

They say 5 years jail for threatening to shoot one down. Up to 20 years for doing it...

But hey - they're just the federal government..

You just do things your way...

Unless you have the video proof you won't have a leg to stand on in court. I'll make the remains including the SD card disappear.

I'm adding you to the list, Tongue

There's someone behind us that flew one recently.

It smashed into a tree..

That said I could hear it and see it from my back deck...pretty entertaining.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

If a drone were to fly above my place, it would be shot down unless it was Amazon delivering chocolate truffles.

I'm pretty sure that many, many people feel the same way. If it has to come to a head to get properly regulated, so be it.

I have no issues with anyone who wants to fly drones and does so unless it's over my property.

Google Earth's got 6" satellite imagery resolution now. The NoSuchAgency has had that resolution for a few decades now. Drones don't scare me. Cellphones scare me.
