there are next gen games that already look better

Meh. There were plenty of games that looked far better than Skyrim did when that game was new.

And don't forget that the Creation Engine runs FANTASTIC on low end PC's, allowing it to sell even more on the PC market. All you need to run Skyrim on high settings is like a good i5 CPU. I suspect Fallout 4 will be in the same direction.

Skyrim: 3.32 million worldwide

Those are just PC numbers . Having the best graphics ever actually hurt your sales.

I don't really care about the reception. It's just that I personally am a bit disappointed by how it looks. But I guess that's because some of us have waited so long for this game that we set the bar higher, or as high as other next gen console game with better graphics.

I getcha but Bethesda has never been about blow you out of the water graphics. They are all about world building. I can't wait to see what they have done with Boston.
