I hear pillows can make a good improvised suppressor...

Earmuffs's relationship advice
Pillows are used as noise suppressors for assassins in the movies to hide the sound of their gunshot. However, I believe that said utility is a myth.

That was the point.

Besides, the sound of a gunshot is made by the bullet when it hits open air ( pseudo-sonic boom, to my very basic understanding) the pillow should work as a poor, impromptu suppressor.

Earplugs. Although he might want to get that checked out. Snoring like that could be an indication of breathing problems, sleep apnea or something similar.
You know what works better then earplugs?
