Educational and Therapeutic Games vs. Violent Games
So, you can use some videos games to change your psychology for the better... but others can't change it for the worse? Seems hypocritical. Your thoughts? It doesn't have to be limited to video games, other media too.

RE: Educational and Therapeutic Games vs. Violent Games
I suppose it depends on the level of dedication one has to the medium, and the level of immersion they allow themselves. I see the violent games I play as therapeutic, myself. It helps to relieve stress and I enjoy playing with my friends, to my knowledge it hasn't affected me negatively in the decade or so I've been playing them. I'm no more violent or angry than I have ever been, in fact I'd say the case is quite the opposite.

I find that media affects a person only in the way they want to be affected, or in the way their current psychology allows. A mentally disturbed person will be affected by anything they're exposed to that fuels their illness.

"Good news, everyone!"
