Educational, unbiased religious info
I want to learn about different religions. Where can I find strictly educational, unbiased information about different religions? Videos would be preferred, but I don't mind reading either. Thanks in advance! Stay awesome people Smile!

Glad to hear! Not enough people does that - atheists and theists alike.

Here are two series of lectures from UCLA and Missouri State University:

Harvard have just put up its library on line so you can study for free! You will not have a qualification at the end but you will have knowledge which is very preaches!!

If you're not looking for courses and don't need to source your material, Wikipedia's actually a marginally reasonable starting point.

newadvent.org , the Catholic Encylopaedia, is surprisingly, unbiased.

Of course it stocks alot of info on Catholicism and is from a Catholic "perspective" but is quite and very unbiased.

The only one I'm curious about is Buddhism. I've considered buying books or borrowing them, but haven't quite gotten around to it yet. I think I must have secret Asian ancestors because I'm often curious about their history, warts, culture and religions.

Edit: Wars not warts. Swiping ducks!

No. Not by ANY stretch of the imagination.

Els, get "Buddhadhamma - Natural Laws and Values for Life" by Phra Prayudh A. Payutto.

There's a used one listed at this writing on Amazon for under $12.
