I'm back.

Symptom: Bloody urine with consistency of toothpaste.

Diagnosis: Urinary tract infection.

Treatment: Installed catheter that has to remain in place for a week.

It's HELL. Evil_monster

Since I'm going through hell on earth do I get to go to heaven when I die.

No no fun at all.

There may be no heaven but at least you won't have to deal with bloody, presumably purulent piss when you die.

I need to work on this words of encouragement thing. Consider Feel better and don't be afraid to go back if your condition worsens, at least you'll get good drugs at the hospital.
Pro tip: say 9/10 pain and get dilaudid

Dilaudid is nectar of the gods. Too bad I only get it when I have kidney stones. Tongue

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

RE: Emergency Room
I sympathise. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease this morning, I have a circular rash the size of an apple where a tick bite passed on the infection on my leg and the traditional "flu-like" symptoms. I have antibiotics that are making me puke but it should be fine in a few weeks..

Hate the belief, love the believer.

Emergency Room update
I finally get a follow up with my Urologist. He tells me the lab work confirms that the ER diagnosis was wrong. There's no infection. He sends me to the hospital for a CT scan. I have an appointment with him next Tuesday afternoon to get the results.

I looked up my symptoms on Web M.D. All I learned was that it could be anything from trivial to fatal. Duh. I'm trying not to worry about it.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Get well soon. I have never been seriously sick in my life so I cannot relate to that.

But it doesn't sound like fun, that's for sure.

I hope you get better soon Hug

Swing with me a while, we can listen to the birds call, we can keep each other warm.
Swing with me forever, we can count up every flower, we can weather every storm.

Double your usual fluid intake. Get something you like. It will go away quicker.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

Cranberry juice can't hurt.
