Being omniscient, god knew the answer he would receive before the question was asked.

Being omnipotent, god could created something other than hell as a punishment, and that is assuming that a punishment is needed in the first place.

Being omnibenevolent... yeah, sorry. There is nothing benevolent about this situation. This is omni-sadism, if not worse.

The only assumption is that god created hell, knowing that he would have to torture his children for eternity.

At least satan was banished to hell. Hell was created by a "loving" god so that demons could torture his children forever. Satan does everything with the full knowledge and permission of this loving god. So every scream of agony is apparently music to god's ears as well as satan's. Go figure.

This is not a god to be loved. This is a monster to be feared and despised.

\What kind of parent punishes their child with torture?

What kind of parent disowns, discards and disinherits their child because the child did not follow the life path the parent wanted?

Or worse, if the child chooses the right path, god could say, "nah, you choose wrong" and harden their heart so the child ends up in hell anyway. (Sorry Pharaoh... )

Or according to the calvinists, we're all damned to begin with.
How fucked up is that?

Help for the living. Hope for the dead. ~ R.G. Ingersoll

Freedom offers opportunity. Opportunity confers responsibility. Responsibility to use the freedom we enjoy wisely, honestly and humanely. ~ Noam Chomsky
