Epic fail
[Image: ay513c77c6.jpg]

So much fail. This fails to represent atheism on so many levels

What were we before birth?-A fetus

Why where you born?-Because sex

Why are you living?-This one is a bit complicated, but to put it simply, because of DNA and RNA and all that junk

Why will you die?-Because of the aging process of cellular decay

What will happen after your death?-Well, they're close on the money on this one. We truly don't know, but we think nothing happens. Kind of like an eternal, dreamless, sleep.

Why are you an atheist?-Not because I know everything! It's the exact opposite. I don't know everything, and I have the balls to admit I don't know everything!

I've got 2 tulpas, Taunav and Eris. If you don't know what a tulpa is, read this.

If Eris has anything to say, she'll be speaking in {}
If you think I'm insane, I don't care

RE: Epic fail
This could go in Dark Light's thread about unintentional humour.

It makes the author look stupid.

Keep it coming, I say.

Theist: What were you before birth?
Atheist: There is no "before birth" for "I."

Theist: Why were you born?
Atheist: Stupid religious superstition kept my mother from getting an abortion.

Theist: Why are you living?
Atheist: To love my Gwynnies! Heart Banana_zorro Heart

Theist: Why will you die?
Atheist: Entropy.

Theist: What will happen to you after death?
Atheist: There is no "after death" for "I."

Theist: Why are you following atheism?
Atheist: You.

(Course I wrote all that as an excuse to dance around for my Gwynnies again. I love my Gwynnies! Big Grin)

Wow looks like most of the pro life posters too.

Bury me with my guns on, so when I reach the other side - I can show him what it feels like to die.

"Why are you following Atheism?"

Probably the same reason I "follow" not base-jumping, or a bald man "follows" not dying his hair. Those crazy faithful just can't conceive of not following, as if atheism is just another cult or something.

Now, pass me another baby; I'm starving.

RE: Epic fail
Why is it important to know where I come from? Would it make my life better to know? Would it change who I am? Would it make me a better person?
How can I know, without any doubt, that I even existed before my life began? If it is impossible to know, why is it ok to pretend I know? Why is it normal to just assume the answer?
Does my birth require meaning? What is meaning? Who does my life have to hold meaning for, my parents, myself, a stranger? Why do I need meaning? Will it ruin my life, or make me unhappy to have no meaning? Do other creatures have meaning? Do they need it, even though many of them don't even have enough intelligence to know they exist? In who's mind do they hold meaning? Who defines it?
I know from science that dying is a matter of decay and entropy. Even cells that repair themselves cannot do so forever. They will all die, and so will the overall body. Why is that not good enough? Why do we need more?
Why is it important to know where I go after I die? How can I know, without any doubt, that I will even exist at all after my body dies? If it is impossible to know, why is it ok to pretend to know? Why is it normal to just assume the answer?
How can I follow Atheism when it has no tenants, no leaders, and no doctrine? How can I follow something that is individual?

Religion, rather than acting as a symbol of truth or justice, merely acts as a symbol of human gullibility and stupidity. Surely no race of beings with any real intelligence would concoct such drivel.

1. Well, let's see. I didn't exist.
2. Because my parents got frisky one cold winters night.
3. See # 2. and my mother gave birth to me.
4. Because I'll get old and my cells won't function any longer.
5. I won't exist.
6. It doesn't require a following. Dumb question.

Shakespeare Insult 13 – Henry IV Part 1
“That trunk of humours, that bolting-hutch of beastliness, that swollen parcel of dropsies, that huge bombard of sack, that stuffed cloak-bag of guts, that reverend vice, that grey Iniquity, that father ruffian, that vanity in years?”
