Euro 2012
Which team will be champion in Euro 2012?
My vote for Spain or Netherlands.

Spain or Germany.

Spain would be the obvious choice but Germany have had some good players come through in the last few years so I wouldn't write them off.

Croatia.

We just started against Ireland with 3:0, so we have a good start. We usually win everything when all hope is gone and when nobody thinks of us as a real competition. This could be just like Goran Ivanishevich winning Wimbledon in tennis. He came with an invitation, it was his last tournament before retirement and then he cleaned everybody else. Let's wait and see that in football.

I hope I censured it correctly. If not remove and I will do it again.

RE: Euro 2012
I am an American in need of information about this strange, largely unknown sport.
My crazy Brit friend (the one who doesn't like Monty Python or Dr. Who) wants me to go with her to the George and Dragon (a British pub in Seattle) to watch England's match on Tuesday. I know the game, rules and some strategies, but I don't really know the significance of this match or the tournament. What is the goal, (pun intended) of Euro 2012, how does England fit in, what should I be looking for, who are the stars, etc.?
