I know I’m wasting my time with you but do me a favor and read those two quotes above and see if you can spot the contradiction.

“I am quite sure now that often, very often, in matters concerning religion and politics a man’s reasoning powers are not above the monkey’s.”~Mark Twain
“Ocean: A body of water occupying about two-thirds of a world made for man - who has no gills.”~ Ambrose Bierce

Kinda hard to choose and be free when you're drowning in a watery grave.

Why was god so angry? I thought we were supposed to be free to choose?

Your god sounds like a childish little pussy throwing a temper tantrum when his toy's end up breaking.

Plus he drowned every infant in the world. What an asshole. And you endorse him, which also makes you an asshole.

Yes, but they were evil babies.

"Theology made no provision for evolution. The biblical authors had missed the most important revelation of all! Could it be that they were not really privy to the thoughts of God?" - E. O. Wilson

What about aquatic animals?

Perhaps you meant this as a joke but in the event you are serious.

It’s been calculated that the volume of water to cover all dry land would have affected the salinity of the world’s oceans to the point that most marine animals would have also died, not by drowning but by change in water composition.

Such deluge would have radically affected density, dissolved gases, nutrients and pH and altering them in such a short amount of time would have probably killed most aquatic animals, the ones that didn’t die immediately in the lower depths would have eventually starved as life above was wiped out.

"Many marine organisms are highly affected by changes in salinity. This is because of a process called osmosis which is the ability of water to move in and out of living cells, in response to a concentration of a dissolved material, until an equilibrium is reached. In general the dissolved material does not easily cross the cell membrane so the water flows by osmosis to form an equilibrium. Marine organisms respond to this as either being osmotic conformers (also called poikilosmoutic) or osmotic regulators (or homeostatic).”
http://www.marinebio.net/marinescience/0...sition.htm

Salinity is the measure of all the salts dissolved in water. Salinity is usually measured in parts per thousand (ppt or ). The average ocean salinity is 35ppt and the average river water salinity is 0.5ppt or less.
