This is a god concept so monstrous, it forces any rational person to pause and say - there is no way this god is anything but a man-made invention, for only men, barbaric men, can create something like this.

And yet believers do describe their imaginary friend fiend as good, and use the word "just" to weasel out of trying to explain the unthinkable atrocities attributed to their god in the Bible.

Moral cowards, the lot of 'em! They make the most pathetic excuses to wave away the contradiction of a "loving" god that drowns planets, commands genocides and allows a hell to exist, and their scripture-addled brains seem to be incapable of understanding that all they have to do to resolve the contradiction is to put the Bible aside and imagine a saner, better-behaved god.

All they have to do to resolve all of the contradictions is to put aside all gods and understand a saner, well-behaved reality. Yes

You are blinded by presupposition. Read the actual words because they don't say what you claim.

Here's some things that God himself did do:

Drowned everybody on earth (including babies and animals). Well, not quite -- He did spare 8 people and 2 (or 7) of each animal. What a sport!

Destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah (including children/babies).

Killed every firstborn child and animal in Egypt.

Drowned the entire Egyptian army in the Red Sea.

Sent bears to devour some children just because they called a prophet "bald head".

Gave Satan free reign to destroy Job's family and possessions and torture Job himself -- all to win a bet.

... and I could go on and on. God has plenty of blood on his hands. He's an asshole of the first magnitude.

Bullshit. What part of "God hardened his heart" don't you understand? Seems like a simple declarative sentence to me. I know you can't write a coherent sentence -- can't you read one either?

He killed everyone in Sodom and Gomorrah except Lot and his family. Do you think there were two entire cities with only adults living in them? No children or babies? When has there ever been such a city? Try to use your brain instead of just parroting whatever some website tells you.
