Your just a creature a thing god made we dont even have information yet by the reason of being so young and beginning to have better technology to even know that gods rules have truth to us destroying everything. And he says he doesnt let the evil flourish and its natural if you kill somebody somebody would want to kill you, example of how god is indirectly and directly involved in our lives.

What the Goat Herders Guide to The Galaxy says is immaterial, a bore really. Got anything else?

RE: Everybodies wrong.
These goat hearders had extensive understanding of things if you read more into there rules and more esotric teachings that date into the bc era. So i won all you can say is that god was unjust in killing evil people and try to say their innocent and try to tag along babies with it just to make it seem bad but it was men praying to god after seeing divine intervention that gave them a good life, and then jesus showed the opposite.

You "won"?

Are you high?!?

There's nothing "more" to read into their* rules. Nothing esoteric about it. We're not saying God was "unjust"; we're saying that the humans who claimed to speak for God were Iron Age desert warrior barbarians, and their "things God says to do" list included that outlook. Like every other religion around the world and throughout history, they invented God in their own image.

We didn't "tag along babies with it just to make it seem bad". The stories necessarily involved the death of men, women, children, and infants when their cities were wiped out after the Israelites (um, I mean "God") called them "evil". No such thing as "evil people", unless you mean ALL people are evil, as the Christian named Paul asserted to repeatedly in the New Testament. You are the one trying to find a way to call an entire people "evil" in order to justify the "Godly People" murdering them wholesale... except the virgin girls whom they kept for themselves, of course. What could those Amalekites be doing that was more evil than the list I just provided, done by "God's Chosen People"?

These "chosen" tribal barbarians killed "evil" people (read: the people across the valley who are in our way and/or who threaten us) and said that God excused this behavior. Now you say God excuses this behavior. It's sickening. It not only goes against every standard of moral reasoning, it goes directly against the teaching of Christianity which says that all people are sinners by nature and from birth... meaning that we are all equally "evil" and the killings would be unjustifiable.

Regardless of what you think is excusable in the name of God, there is never an excuse for genocide. There is never an excuse for slavery.

And most importantly, there is never an excuse for trying to cover up these historical crimes, let alone justifying them.

This is what religion does to your brain, kids.

RE: Everybodies wrong.
Show me those verses again, they defeated jerico then the rest of them wanted to kill them and they defeated them and left the women and children alone except for moses. Now i understand that a sign helps you to believe but you have to become a believer, ive had several real life experiences and still do right now theres a ghost shaking my leg every night, Ive had people come to me saying that somethings telling them to tell me something, ive had really realistic dreams that tell me stuff and then they happen and having people say what im thinking. Ive meet christians whov done the same thing asked god for things and it happened, why dont you become a believer and ask god to see your future for example and i dont mean far future but the coming weeks and days or mabe your whole life and watch youll be on that day and remember it from your dream. I asked god for spiritual experiences and im recieving them.

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.

RE: Everybodies wrong.
The killing done by the Jews had the specific approval and command of the god

Joshua 1:3-5
I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
