Love it! Such a great accent, all sexy time and everything, EH! I didn't know what a Canadian accent was until seeing this show. Now in certain regions I can relate.

I was subjected to the Red Green show growing up, a couple of hosers there, too.

LOL...Red Green Show! I totally forgot about that one!

I will confess that I am in debt to Canada for at least 1 major factor in my life. When I was in grade school we started getting cable tv for the first time. In Seattle, one of the stations included in the meager line-up of channels was a CBC channel broadcasting from Vancouver. Every afternoon I'd come home to watch an hour of....Wait for it...

If not for this, I would never have become an obsessed Web Head. Go Spidey!

I always thought Bob and Doug were extreme caricatures of what Americans thought Canadians were like. Then I actually got to go around Canada some more, and found out there are people just like them but without the humor. I still use their accent as a go to for some quick laughs.

Canada is our last line of defense from an attack by Greenland. Tongue

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

We might just let them in and give them waffles topped with strawberries and maple syrup. The trade is, when they concur your quickly crumbling democracy, they are to hand over half the land and give us back Alaska.

Okay, but then you're responsible for defending against attacks by the Russkies from the Bering Strait. And I'm pretty sure the invasion would just stop at the waffles with strawberries and maple syrup and you'd have to deal with the squatters, errrr ... I mean occupying forces. I imagine their first response would be something like "This is much better than seal meat. Let's just claim victory and stay here, nobody seems to be objecting." Wink
