RE: Evolution defying animals? EEEEH
For the rest of you (and you too, Genesis, if you'd like), I found something really cool that I hadn't heard about because of my time away from the scientific literature. Turns out Neandertals weren't the only human species already living in Asia when we got there, and that modern humans share some DNA from both... and the DNA of the Denisovans appears to demonstrate the existence of another, not-yet-discovered, ancient lineage of humans that has since died out, that contributed to their genome but no others. The amounts and frequencies of detected interbreeding between Homo sapiens and the other species of humans fascinates me!

I heard a report this morning on the radio indicating that Neadertals had gone into a cave about a thousand feet and built a ring of stalactites some 20' across which they had torn from the cave itself. The stalactites were charred, which paleoanths take to mean either protective use against wildlife, or ritual use. Charred bones were nearby, which indicates an awareness of the value of marrow as fuel -- because you don't go 1000' into a cave without a torch.

Every discovery we find, we see that ancient men of all species are usually more complex than we credit them.

Well Gen if you want to do a test debate, or at least have an authentic conversation. Instead of thinking you've already got everything figured out. You're welcome back.

Why did you add 'girl' at the end? Why should this be any different to arguing against a grade 7 boy?
