Eyespy videos
I'm sorry that i'm just barging in with a thread like this, i found this channel that makes videos about people's "real faces" and the faces seem to be full of some sort of symbols.

In the comments people are promoting their religions and talking about spirits, karma and whatnot.

There is also a tutorial on the channel that you can do this yourself.

Is it just our brains making up patterns or what on earth is it?

The maker of these videos called them like fingerprints, since every face has these.

Please take a quick glance at some of them and share your opinions.

Humans tend to look for patterns in things even when none really exist, it's why people see shapes in clouds and the face on the moon thing. This is called Pareidolia.

What JDog said -- pareidolia. Evoked by using photoshop to grotesquely over-emphasize parts of an existing picture with unnatural lighting, coloration, and angles.
