First, LDH, the title of this thread shows how little you know. The investigation was NEVER closed, therefore it can't be "reopened." That's just you and Trump's cronies drooling at the chance to make her look bad. But you're all wrong and just manipulating the letter to suit your own ulterior motives and desperate need to rally from embarrassment to just a good old fashioned ass-beating.

They completed their investigation in July, but it remains open for just such an occasion. His letter, while cryptic and ambiguous, was needed because his testimony indicated he had read all emails that they could muster. Now that there are more emails, he needed to let Congress know so that he could update the record. He is literally paranoid now after the Republican witch hunt and the party's petulant attitude toward him and others in similar positions, such as the head of the IRS.

Second, NOWHERE in the letter does it say reopen, nor does it imply any wrongdoing. In fact, it says he doesn't even know if the info is important at all. The word "pertinent" means pertaining, which in this case means emails between Huma and HRC were found during the period when HRC was SoS. Gee, a top aide emailing her boss? How incriminating!

Third, new reporting from Newsweek indicated this has nothing to do with ANY actions by HRC and has everything to do with Huma taking emails that were sent TO Clinton and transferring them to her laptop so she can print them at home because the printer at the state department was not up to snuff. http://www.newsweek.com/hillary-clinton-...din-514918

Sloppy? Yes. Stupid? Yes. HRC's fault? Nope. A criminal act by HRC? Nope. Just another chance for assholes like you and Drumpf to overreact, twist and spread misinformation prematurely without knowing facts? Yep.

While this horrendously, hastily, irresponsibly written letter will have some undecideds wondering what the hell is going on, when the responsible reporting and facts emerge, the polls will remain strong and its effect will be nominal at best.

Edited to add Newsweek link.

First, the title of my thread was copied from the CNN article I linked to, which has since been changed on CNN's website. Multiple news organizations used the term "re-opened the case." Even liberal news sites.

Second, it doesn't matter what the situation is. It doesn't matter if Hillary is in the clear here or not. If Comey doesn't come out in the next 10 days and tell us what the deal is, people will assume she is under investigation again. And they won't vote for someone under investigation by the FBI. Her die hards (like you) probably will still vote for her. But it will suppress unenthusiastic voters and turn away undecided voters.

It's pure insanity.

That's the stupidest thing I've heard a Trump supporter say yet.

It reads as a 3am tweet from the D himself just trying to get a reaction.

I bet you saw the muslims dancing on the rooftops after 911 as well.

Gimme a fucking break...

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

RE: FBI reopens Hillary email case
There was the senior security advisor for some organisation on BBC saying that the FBI Director had said things that where not his job to say and that did not count.

He omitted to say that it is far too late when those things are now in the public domain and people are mostly not liable to ignore it.

He added that Bush also used private email servers for official mail, without investigations, and hinted that Trump's groping should be investigated with more force.

Looks like the usual problem of officials, not answerable to the public, almost certainly illegally, manipulating the political system. That is frightening but, I gather, not unusual.

If he had any integrity, he would MAKE, (or should have already read them), his team work 24 hours a day, until they CAN say something about them. He would have had to have known what his letter would do, AND he had no real information to actually report. I used to have a lot of respect for Comey. Not any more. Get your asses busy, and READ them all, NOW, FBI.
From what that guy on the BBC was saying there are certainly grounds for suspicion that the FBI Director is deliberately manipulating matters and, therefore public opinion.

But who can challenge him and what does this say for any potential Rep administration? Even more truth and democracy to get shovelled into the trash can? There is little enough already.

This is the first election where both candidates can't seem to stay out of trouble.

Sounds like you blindly follow whatever you want to be true. And your assumptions just keep getting more and more desperate while providing less and less empirical evidence. This will all blow over like Trump's hair in the wind.

In a NYT article T Rump says that it is about time justice was done.

Yup, he should be in dentention awaiting a trial for multiple sexual assaults.

I am all for justice.

RE: FBI reopens Hillary email case
You are all going to have to deal with the fact the Loretta Lynch and Obama got played. Watch that press conference by James Comey back in July. You will see a man that almost looked defeated. Frustrated. He laid out step by step how Hillary violated the law. Mishandling classified material is still illegal. His team wanted criminal charges. He did too. You can see it in his face. He was obviously under pressure from Lynch and Obama.

So he played their game. If he refused to bow to their pressure and recommended indictment, the dems would have had plenty of time to replace Hillary on the ballot. Remember, James Comey is a republican. He became the democrat's hero after not recommending charges. He knew that they would sing his praises for months. And it would make him look unbiased and hard to smear when he stuck it to them later.

And stick it to them he did. And now it's too late to replace her on the ballot. James Comey delivered an October Surprise of epic proportions. A knockout blow. A huge "fuck you" to Obama and Lynch. A masterful move in political chess. Voters are left with the worry that a vote for Clinton is a vote for someone under FBI investigation.

He knows it will take weeks to finish reviewing these new emails. He doesn't have to make public comments during this time.

Check mate.

They found this on Wiener's laptop yes? My guess is there's a video of the Muslim and the Methodist motorboating while the Jew was whacking off and filming. The Jew then apparently sent it to an underage Hindu girl. Not sure why that should be newsworthy.
