FIRST country song I have ever really liked.
A little background. I grew up unfortunately on a street full of bigots, and grew up associating country music to bigotry. Well that is flat out false, just like any other group, you have assholes in every bunch. I have learned a lot since then, especially after meeting my "redneck" friend from Oklahoma, John. He grew up believing, gave up on it in his early 20s but even then was more of a Libertarian. But after a stint at Dish Hellwork, he is now not only an redneck atheist, but an economic liberal as well.

Anywho, he has pointed out to me over the years many liberal "rednecks" like Willy Nelson and Woody Guthrie, whom while I never got into but still valued their empathy. Well just now this morning I ran into a song by Margo Price "About To Find Out" which is about the smugness of those who think they are hot shit. Really appropriate considering what is going on in politics and the 1%.

HERE IS MARGO PRICE "ABOUT TO FIND OUT",

I like all music. I have just about everything on my Ipod.

I always kept Country music at arms distance my mother absolutly loved it and I was offent awoken with the same country songs played over and over again.

But there are a few singers that I just absolulty love.

Dolly Parton

And her life story is just such an amazing rags to riches.

Garth Brooks

Yeah he's a nut job in RL, but many of his songs just hit that spot.

Johnny Cash

I can't think of country with out thinking about this guy.

But yeah you could play a Game called Country Bingo.
A southern State. Texas, Georgia, Tennesse etc. etc. Is mentioned.
Country
Jeans
Boots
Wide brim hat.
Truck
Dog
Someone dies.
Honky Tonk
Gun

Mix any of these words into a song and you've got a country song.

Da fuck you say? Drumpf's favorite book is the bible *cough*. Maybe you forgot, but Sinead tore up a photo of the Pope.

Trump has more in common with the right wing Catholic League than Sinead.

We aren't real big on Country here in the UK.

What do I know about Country?

I know that Johnny Cash is the change given by a condom machine.

I know that Ring of Fire is about the aftermath of a hot curry.

I know that Glen Campbell sang about a 9 stone cowboy.

I know that Kenny Rogers sang about 400 children and a cop in the filed.

That's just about it, I guess.
