There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. -Camus

Country can be either really good or really bad.

Dolly Parton: Coat of Many Colors
(based on her own life)

Johnny Cash: Hurt
(a cover of a Nine Inch Nails song)

David Ball: Riding with Private Malone
(A good story song)

Charlie Daniels: Legend of Wooley Swamp
(Another good story song)

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

Country music doesn't bother me. Country singers with their faux twangy bullshit voices and their stupid country lyrics? They make me want to cave in my own skull with a hammer. I know this doesn't apply to all 'country' music, but they've soured the genre enough that I've never bothered exploring it further outside of Johnny Cash. No

I love country music! I must clarify, however, that the Censored they play on the radio today is not country music. Though I'm more into alt-country, there are some more traditional artists, like this guy, that I can really get behind.
