Go home, bridge, you're drunk.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

Bonner Bridge

Connecting mainland NC with the Outer Banks where I was born...I remember before the bridge was there and the only way to get to grandma's house was by ferry.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Hush you - your favorite everything is Gwynnies. Dodgy

This one is in France. It doesn't even look real.

Edit: I just wanted to add that I think bridges are one of the greatest things humans have come up with. The world would be a very different place without bridges.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I love my Gwynnies! Heart

Hitchhiked over this thing, which was pretty crazy:

There's a rest stop near the middle which gives the lovely impression of being on a sliver of road in the middle of the ocean. Big Grin

Damn dude, that's 20 minutes from my house. Should've said something.

That was in '93. Big Grin

Your pic reminded me of Coronado; I just got lost for a few wondering WTF happened to San Diego. Nothing like a trip down memory lane courtesy of google street view. Man, the dive I stayed in for 150 bucks a week (in '96) is now the U.S. Grant, going for $265 a night. Undecided

Jeff Bridges though......Heart

That Michigan bridge, it that ice surrounding it or is the water reflecting and looking like ice.

Oh, and is this the bridge that many people who have a fear of bridges won't drive across because it's so long? I saw a report on this once. They pay other people to drive across the bridge because they are too frightened to do it themselves but I don't know if this is the bridge. It was somewhere in Michigan I think

I'm pretty sure that is the one, because I've heard the same thing. I live in Wisconsin, but I have never seen this bridge, so I don't know how it would affect me. My favorite bridge is the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado. It's way way up above the river (something like 1000 feet), and that didn't really bother me. But it's nowhere near as long as the Mackinac Bridge.

Driving across Royal Gorge is easy. Walking across it is spooky, as you can feel it sway and move with every vehicle that crosses. And you get a much closer view of the drop. Beautiful country!

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?
