RE: Favorite Classic, Classic Sci-Fi Movies
This is my favorite Sci-Fi movie and you may call it claymation but I'm a'calling it Sci-Fi....cause that's just the way it is. So there!

A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Gromit. They want to go on a "cheese vacation" and decide the moon is the place with all the cheese in the world so...off they go..... in their home made space rocket!

Cheese, Gromit. Cheeeeeese! Big Grin

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

The greatest line in all of movie history: "There's a herd of giant killer rabbits headed this way!"

RE: Favorite Classic, Classic Sci-Fi Movies
Seriously, no one has posted the original "true" sci-fi movie yet? (Not counting "A Trip to the Moon", of course.)

1927. So far ahead of its time!

"Theology made no provision for evolution. The biblical authors had missed the most important revelation of all! Could it be that they were not really privy to the thoughts of God?" - E. O. Wilson

Not a real big fan of pre-60's Sci Fi.....

Some of the stuff really bugged me....

For instance -- the "gravity boots" they always seem to wear in space -- with magnets to glue the "space traveler" to the floor.....

Why???

And why did they only walk on one surface? It would be equally tiring to stick and unstick magnets strong enough to hold you on the "overhead" as it would the "floor"...

And why did every odd event or creature come accompanied by the sound of a theremin?????

The difference between prayer and masturbation - is when a guy is through masturbating - he has something to show for his efforts.

You would have preferred bunny slippers?

Fred Astaire worked for a different studio.

The whoopie cushion hadn't been invented yet.

Admit it. Your whole post was just an excuse to write "theremin." I don't blame you. It's a fun word, yet I don't think I've ever written it before and have no idea when I'll ever write it again.

Oh hell: Theremin.

The Godzilla movies scared me as a kid, and Johnny Sokko did too, but I liked them.
