Favorite Non-Fiction Author?
Who is your favorite non-fiction author?

I would 100% choose Carl Sagan. Sagan's books are so incredibly unique when compared to other science authors. He has a certain poetic feeling to his writing that pulls you right in. His imagination is endless and his books have such a humbling quality to them. He's completely changed how I look at the world and the life that patters around upon it.

Other favorites include Neil DeGrasse Tyson for his humor and Richard Dawkins for his barbed writing style.

I have to say Dawkins, totally and completely. His books allowed me to let go of religious guilt and become the happy atheist I am today.

Yeah Dawkins is great too, I've never seen or heard of an atheist as proud as him.
If you haven't already seen this speech, check it out. Very empowering.

His final words of the speech, very well chosen.

RE: Favorite Non-Fiction Author?
Even thought I only read science literature nowadays, I have'nt yet read enough to know much about different authors, but I do'nt think anyone will beat Dawkins on my list, because it's his fault that reality seems so awesome and cool, which it of course is.

Correct me when I'm wrong.
Accept me or go to hell.

My favorite non-fiction author is Benjamin Hoff. Know why? Because he write my favorite non-fiction book entitled "The Tao of Pooh". I like reading this literature story because it is a great introduction to Taoism using one of the best-known characters in Western literature.

Bill Bryson. "A Walk in the Woods" is one of the funniest books ever written.

Honestly don't read a ton of nonfiction but Richard Feynman has a few of the best books I've ever read, and I've thoroughly enjoyed Bart Ehrman's books.

Well for me, Richard Dawkins and Carl Sagan are on the top of my favorite non-fiction & scientific authors, another good author for me is James Randi and his book entitled; An Encyclopedia of Claims, Frauds, and Hoaxes of the Occult and Supernatural. Peace.
