Why don't airfreshners smell like real forrest? Have the scientists at these companies never smelled forrest?

I don't really like going outside.

My mom got me a bubblebath gift set and it's supposed to smell like a "forest breeze" or some shit, but yeah... same problem. I don't think the people making the fragrance have been in a forest before.

ETA: I also kinda like the smell of gasoline, but I wouldn't huff it or anything.

My wife has had occassions when she claimed to enjoy or even crave the smells of gasoline and chalk...but only when she was pregnant.
