Dirt
Water
dirt + water (such as the earth smells after the rain)
Leather
Redwood
wet dog (Don't ask)
cumin
garlic on my fingers after mincing it for gumbo
dry grasses after the rain (the smell has a distinct sweetness to it)
sausage

EDIT: To clarify "Dirt" above: freshly dug earth rich with minerals. Mojave dirt only smells good when wet.

What you smelled during and after the rain is called ozone--the scent of our planet. It is the hardest scent to replicate. Nice connection.

I especially enjoy the scent coming off a pasture used by horses--grew up around horses.

Gulf of Mexico

My babies--each different

Lavender, basil, thyme, rosemary

Dirt also

There was also this one boy I dated two years ago and he smelled so interesting and nice and I don't even know. It was probably one of the most unique smells that ever stuck with me, and his entire house (living room furniture, clothes, bed sheets- yeah, that makes me sound like a fucking stalker but whatever) smelled like it and I could never place what it was but it must be what perfect smells like because damn. I dated him two years ago, but I recently saw him again and hugged him and he smells the same and it makes me want to cry that I don't know what it is.

Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Well, after being dead for over a year there probably isn't any smell to it any more.
