Favorite Sites Other Than This One
Just thought I'd start a thread having to do with some of our favorite websites outside of this very one. Don't have to be related to atheism but I would imagine most of us here are bound to post some pro atheism sites here. Like me.

FreethoughtPedia, a great site for all things atheist, especially the deconversion stories. That should start the ball rolling.
Dorkly, the place for videogame humor I like the most.

Penny Arcade one of my favorite web comics.

Hahahhahahah all of those are great, thanks man.

Also I'd never heard of irReligion before, it's fantastic. When I clicked on the link the first article was about the church child protection chief caught uploading child porn. This guy needs to spend some serious time in the general population of a major prison. Also it's really past the point where we start making the institutions that employ these people and place them in positions of power, to take accountability. There should at the very least be a massive fine put into place for every school or religious organization that is caught employing someone who is in charge of caring for children that also wants to have sex with them. It happens too often, and must be at least partially avoidable with strict attention. It always seems like when it counts the most humanity always looks the other way.
Think about how much money could have been grabbed from the catholic church alone by now. They'd be bankrupt.

Awesome sites.

There is no punishment great enough for the pedophile. Everything I think of ends with "...and then he dies."

Best

Unfortunately we can never bankrupt them. They have their own country beyond anyone else's jurisdiction to retreat to. That's the first step to take against Catholicism, make Vatican City part of Italy again. The second step is to find some way of getting rid of the rampant corruption and christianity in Italy, and then enlist their help in punishing the wrongdoings of the Catholic church. I'm sure the Pope would take great interest in child protection if for every child abused money got taken directly from the Vatican.

RE: Favorite Sites Other Than This One
Hi all, I'm new to the site and thought this was a great thread to jump into.

One of my favorite sites is the new Freethought Blogs (http://freethoughtblogs.com/). It combines a bunch of different blogs all in one place such as PZ Myers, Ed Brayton, Chris Rodda ("Liars for Jesus"), and Stephen "DarkSyde" Andrew (and others). If you haven't been there yet, check it out. And I'll be checking out some of the sites listed above.

Glad to be here! Thanks for the opportunity.

I don't know why I'd never found this before, maybe because I'm not terribly in need of it most of the time. But it's a great resource.

I use it for what I'm sure isn't it's intended purpose.

Organized passages from the bible that uses a word search tool for finding all of the passages mentioning whatever word you enter. With multiple versions of the bible uploaded for searching.
My favorite part is at the bottom, where it states
"All scriptures on Top Verses are used by permission." I mean who'd they ask? does someone own the bible? I claim it's me who does and I don't remember giving permission. To court. How could they prove I didn't write it? I could just say that god had me time travel. Then they would have to prove that god doesn't exist because that would be the only way to disprove my time travel story. HA.
