Favorite TV Show Theme Songs
The category is self-evident from the thread title.
I'll start the "wave" rolling with what could possibly be the best theme song eva! (And I found this cool parody video, so I'm going to use it because I can). Next? "Some of you are really douchey. This is beyond obvious, but this is a good intro, even I've long since stopped watching the series (of course, everything sounds amazing played on a cello - the most beautiful instrument ever).
Have always liked this (bad quality) - a variation on Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns. Also, there are two pieces in a series, called Miracles, composed by Robert J. Kral, that I found mesmerising, but they're nowhere to be found on the net. And call me old-fashioned, but the Cheers theme song is a classic. |

Yeah, MASH is one of the great ones I didn't think of.
And Vera, technically I feel as if The Game of Thrones doesn't qualify for best music necessarily, but it has to be one of the very best tv intros ever.

I don't know what kinda candy-assed criterion you fluffballs used to determine the epicness of your chosen theme... prolly some like, you know ... but since I owned every fucking episode of this, the greatest show everz, and never once fast-forwarded the intro, there it is.Posers. |
