Triple layer German chocolate with coconut caramel icing and strawberries between the layers and on top. Be sure to keep your hands and feet away from me when I'm eating. Drooling

RE: Favorite cake?
The odd time when I have cake I tend to go for a chocolate éclair.

You beat me to it, triple layer and all. Except I like "regular" GC, without the strawberries.

Other than that I'd have to go with blueberry cheesecake. Mmmm. Drooling

Although I'm by no means a royalist, Queen Elizabeth cake is my favourite.
It's moist and rich with deep flavour but never too sweet, and the coconut topping is to die for.
Imagine carrot cake without the annoying carrots, and then imagine that a billion times richer, deeper, better: that's QE cake.

RE: Favorite cake?
RS's cake is right up there in the cake department. Yum!
pie is pumpkin. Mom taught the art of the crust. Our family typically makes a pie to human ratio of 0.75~1.0 pies per person at Thanksgiving.
These are not thick pies, as the crust is too good to dilute. The boys and men eat them like pizza and save plates and silverware.
