RE: Favorite horror films
I recently saw The Conjuring and that was pretty epic.

Best and worst of Ferdinand .....
Best
Ferdinand: We don't really say 'theist' in Alabama. Here, you're either a Christian, or you're from Afghanistan and we fucking hate you.
Worst
Ferdinand: Everyone from British is so, like, fucking retarded.

For no matter how much I use these symbols, to describe symptoms of my existence.
You are your own emphasis.
So I say nothing.

RE: Favorite horror films
#1 The original Halloween
#2 The Shining (sort of tied here with Event Horizon, but EH can't hold a candle to Jack!)
#3 The first Paranormal Activity. I went into the theater with no expectations. The crying women behind me made the movie for me though.
#4 Shaun of the Dead
#5 Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. Best hillbilly horror movie ever! (See this movie, it's hilarious in a good way!)

RELIGION, n. A daughter of Hope and Fear, explaining to Ignorance the nature of the Unknowable. - Ambrose Bierce (The Devil's Dictionary)

RE: Favorite horror films
I don't usually go for horror films, but my favorite in the genre is probably Silent Hill. I finally watched the original Night of the Living Dead last weekend and really enjoyed it. Despite a bit of corniness and obvious limitations on special effects, it stands up pretty well for being 45 years old.

My favorite movie that is more suspense than horror is The Fallen, with Denzel Washington.

RE: Favorite horror films
The original Evil Dead & Creepshow easily top the list. Night of the Living Dead 1968, Dawn of the Dead 1978, Day of the Dead 1985...

The original Fright Night.

This is the signature.
