Who invented the automotive back-up sensor that is now a standard feature on most all new cars? I bet you think it was Ford, maybe GM, how about Chrysler? No, then, how about Mercedes Benz?

No! It was a Chinese farmer!

Surprisingly, it was not developed by modern automotive engineers using the latest technology. Recently, it was disclosed that the first to develop the back-up sensor was a Chinese Farmer.

His invention was simple and effective. It emits a high-pitch squeal when the vehicle backs into something.

As an automotive engineer i can assure you that:

1) The so called "box volume" is much too big
2) Weight needs to be reduced, because of CO2 emissions of the car
3) "Inherent CO2 emissions of the device" also need to be reduced significantly
