RE: Favourite Books?
If you liked Orwell's 1984, you will also like Animal Farm.
Other books by Orwell I read and liked,
Homage to Catalan
Down and Out In Paris and London.
The Road to Wigan Pier

Catch 22 - Joseph Heller
Gargantua and Pantagruel - Rabelais

Fads and Fallacies In The Name Of Science.
Martin Gardener
Kooks, cranks and pseudoscience galore.
This book permanently warped my thinking when I read it at age 13.

Suetonius - The Twelve Caesars
The Age of Reason - Thomas Paine
Some Mistakes of Moses - Robert Ingersol
Eric Hoffer - The True Believer
The Books of Charles Fort.
Weird stuff culled from science journals and newspapers. Rainfalls of frogs and fish, strange lights in the sky and other oddball stuff. High Weirdness.

When I shake my ignore file, I can hear them buzzing!

Cheerful Charlie

RE: Favourite Books?
There are a lot of books that I've enjoyed reading, but the list for those that I would re-read is quite small. The only books that I've read more than once is:

1) Journey to the West (1592)
2) The Sindbad Voyage (1982)
3) The Shaolin Monastery (2008)

I need to have a go of journey to the west, it's been on list for ages although I can't find a good copy of it anywhere!
