What sarcasm?

Please re-read posts #1064 and #1066 as though I had used ^abc^ (sarcasm font).

Try adding glitter, if it sparkles people might be more inclined to speak up.

Did that. I got some strange looks but also positive comments from a Korean guy and a Japanese guy (independently) at the airport. I've not had the balls to do it in class yet.

Maybe we should take this to PM or a different thread. I feel we are derailing. My fault.

Please do the same for what you just quoted.

Have you tried wearing matching pink clothing?

Derailing sperailing this thread will get re-railed easily enough eventually.

Why don't you get something to stand on?
Than you don't need to break a perfectly good table...

Also, whoever drew that is an idiot. If you broke one of the legs the top wouldn't slant, it would stay straight but the whole chair would be on a lean, not just the top...

I think you're missing the point of the analogy. If you stop worrying about whether or not the table legs are glued into the top or not, you'll notice it's a pretty good representation of theodicy and people's reactions to it.

No, it's just muffs. He understands. They (whoever the hell 'they' is) should have done remove a leg, then shorten a leg.

yabut, I just can't get past the physics fail..
If they'd kept the table looking like it did in the 4th box there wouldn't be a problem.
But the 5th box clearly shows the leg "broken off" so...

Hey chippy, quit being......wait, I mean muffs........ah never mind.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

True. I supposed you could argue that the legs could be standing freely (not affixed) in larger diameter holes drilled in the bottom of the table so it could pivot, but at that point, I'd be getting pretty pedantic to make excuses for Zach's drawing ability.

He frequently makes fun of himself for not being able to draw animals. Apparently broken tables is another thing he needs to add to the list.
