What does "graven" mean?

The dictionary says it is the past participle of grave, implying that grave is a verb. But that same dictionary says grave is a noun.Huh

I worry about details.

Grave is both a commonly used noun (as in a place you lay the dead) and an (archaic) verb (to put in a grave, and also to engrave) .
Graven then becomes the adjective to describe something that has been engraved (the modern adjective) and also something that has been laid to rest in a grave (an archaic adjective).
