The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike

This... This confirms it!
Ok, folks, this is not a drill. I repeat, this is NOT a drill. Science and critical thinking are officially over. God himself has finally declared an end to science and critical thinking. Return to your homes and resume your prayer time immediately.

Reminds me of the blood-draw lady at VA clinic I used to go to. A gentlemen who mentioned his age as 84 told her about having a stroke and taking years to recover from it, but finally getting back to "normal for my age". That last bit was her chance and she jumped in and said "That's God!", giving the old guy's toughness and strong will no credit.

I don't go there any more.

I really hope he was quick with a response. Why is it that the population just wants to be pawns and sheep to be taken advantage of and told what to do and when?

Came across this. Not really funny but it was very good. It is someone's re-cutting of a letter Seth read at a talk he gave.

"If we are honest—and scientists have to be—we must admit that religion is a jumble of false assertions, with no basis in reality.
The very idea of God is a product of the human imagination."
- Paul Dirac
