And they neglect to mention that at another hour, it would appear to be an inverted cross.

I don't think the inverted cross means what you think it means. It's known as the cross of Saint Peter. Legend has it that when St. Peter was crucified he asked to be crucified upside down because he didn't think he deserved to be crucified in the same manner as Jesus.

I like your signature, but I prefer the Janeway quote "When diplomacy fails, there's only one alternative; Violence. Force must be applied without apology. It's the Starfleet way.". I know that was supposed to be an alternate version, but I totally agree with it.

Actually I do. Many others, mostly Christians, confuse it with Satanism. I was a Catholic so I already knew about this cross.

That's St George's cross. He requested to be crucified sideways as he didn't feel like he could be the same as Pete or JC. Then Andrew came along and requested to be crucified at an angle 'cos he couldn't be the same as George, Pete or JC. After that all the good crucifixion positions were taken and the later martyrs had to make do with beheadings and so forth which weren't as impressive.

It's called "witnessing". They get Heaven Points for praising God no matter how ridiculous they get.
