My wife loves this book called Love Wins. The short version of it is "there is no hell, everyone goes to heaven, and all that stuff in the Bible was a metaphor for a garbage dump outside of Jerusalem called 'Hell'.".

So, out of curiosity, I read reviews of the book online to see how it was received. Cue several Christians complaining about the lack of evidence for the claim that Hell was a garbage dump outside of Jerusalem. I laughed very hard at the irony of this. Granted, I agree with them on this criticism. So far as I can tell, this idea comes from a single source 1,200 years after the fact, so the skepticism is warranted. Just... why can't they apply that same skepticism to certain other nonfalsifiable beliefs?

I'm not sure about the context of this panel, but the rest of the comic has to be hilariously sad.

Is this from a Chick Tract?

Zelda is from a video game series that started in the 90's on the original NES system. Pikachu is a Pokémon. I never watched the shows or was into it, because I was probably too old when it started late 90's. I had a friend that was quite involved in it though. Pokémon which is marketed to children translates to Pocket Monster.
