Oh come on, if we're going by non-measurable standards, seen any Nephilim lately? (Outside of Illuminati/Annunaki/HAARP/Nibiru/Lizard People/Fallen Angels/Large Hadron Collider/Etc. conspiracy theories on YouTube?) Tongue

"If we are honest—and scientists have to be—we must admit that religion is a jumble of false assertions, with no basis in reality.
The very idea of God is a product of the human imagination."

Don't let those gnomes and their illusions get you down. They're just gnomes and illusions.

We've got an Amish (and Mennonite) population within an hour's drive of home. I've talked with a lot of them - and even had dinner with them (great food BTW) -- and you'd be surprised....... There are some of them that DO believe in TBBT - and evolution -- and accept science as legitimate.....

What they don't believe in - is dependence on things that they can't supply for themselves..... It's almost a ultra-survivalist kind of thing...... They'll have electricity in the barn, but not the house. (and they have - as in the picture - lights on their buggies - run by battery -- and nowadays -- they even use LED lights....

Go figure...

I'd rather hang out with an Amish crowd than a Baptist crowd anyday.....

Better company, and they're not afraid to drink a beer....

The Amish are fanatics but they generally aren't crazy. And, fortunately, they are fanatics that are also pacifists, so they are not a danger to anyone else.

Unless you are stuck behind one of their stupid buggy's on a busy road at rush hour. Then they are a serious danger.

Shackle their minds when they're bent on the cross
When ignorance reigns, life is lost
