I'll give you a ratings bump if you know who this guy is Big Grin. (Hint: He's a big name in Pat Buchanan's crowd)

That is a great short, it ended differently than I suspected. I thought the nun would see the light.

Yeah, for a bit I thought David's wick would light the way, so to speak. But really, fat chance in heaven - she has the foolproofest blinkers there ever were Drinking Beverage

The Nunja reminded me of the foundress of EWTN, Mother Angelica:

Also those crosses as climbing tools were hilarious.

What a perfect illustration of why Texas textbook battles are so important; as one of the largest markets, as goes Texas, so goes the nation.

Need to think of a witty signature.

1. I thought "nunja" was a play on words.

2. With the advent of "print-on-demand" school boards can choose what goes into their textbooks. The publisher no longer needs to print a hundred thousand books and give school boards a "take it or leave it" choice and is no longer constrained by the biggest market.

But something working well isn't much in the way of news. Facepalm

I thought it was too, just thought it worked well for the short. Smile And neat, I did not know that was a thing at the local levels now. Knew that I've used university specific versions of textbooks from publishers before, but didn't realize the print-on-demand thing had filtered down to the K-12 schools as well, or rather the individualized schoolboards. Thanks for telling me!

Edit: Now with hopefully funny images on my part:

No clue why Ronald Reagan is the bottom row of the people, 3rd from the left.

And this one, if you've ever been to a "contemporary" church service, may elicit a laugh:
