Feeling good. Feeling positive. Humanity. Happiness. Hope.
I wanted to start this thread since I see nothing of the sort stickied. It is very easy to be negative. It is sometimes hard to be positive. But every now and then I come back and look at things that restore my faith in humanity. Things that make me think. Things that make me happy. Things that regardless of my world view, I can just look at and feel good about.

Even if it doesn't get stickied, I figure perhaps we can keep this going to a point enough that it will stay active.

Rules:

- Post something that makes you feel good about things.
- Keep it positive
- No debate, just post something that makes you happy about humanity, the world, the universe
- No negative posts

I'll start with some of my favorites.

A real life superhero. The route 29 batman.

And making music myself, wonderful stress relief Smile

What else... playing card games, hiking, cooking, EATING, museums (especially "Deutsches Museum", Munich), Sun rise at the seaside

This video came out back in 2008 and went viral, and I still watch it occasionally. There's something about it, I don't know what, that makes me feel happy.

Making inanimate semiconductors do what I tell them gives me an adrenalin rush. Makes me feel like God. Oh wait, maybe we already are. Wink

Dude's in my neighborhood. I'm gonna ask him if he needs a sidekick. I'm a bit too old and fat to be a proper Robin to his Batman but my kids ain't. Big Grin

This restores my confidence in humanity's capabilities to recover from itself.

Thanks Kim. I hadn't watched "Science" for a while but it's always worth watching again.

Sheer poetry!

I knew that before I saw the vid but I didn't know it. If you know what I mean.

I always thought Phil had a particularly enthusiastic way with words. I think he was able to articulate so much... for many of us. Thumbsup
