None, my problem is with third-wave "everything is sexist" bullshit. Go pick a real issue, not how you don't like the uncovered midriff on the boxart of Divinity: Original Sin.

Those damn strawmen, eh? Boy, are they ever wrong.

Look it up. The box art was changed for that reason.

Hint: that's not the part that was a straw man.

Fuck you, you insignificant misogynistic piece of elephant shit.

I say that as someone raised mostly by a mother, who in turn was raised by her mother. Also as someone whose great-grandfather came from Ireland.

So again, fuck you and lick the back of them, you aul git.

Aaaaah, shut up and drink your fucking whiskey, you irish twat.

Drooling

You should tell Ronda Rousey your opinion.

She's right. I don't think there's a man in her weight class that can take her.

She reminds me of Hobbitgirl. Big Grin

Well he's not wrong about them existing, he's just really bad with conflating all feminism into that box whenever the subject comes up.

Well; quite.

He goes from "there was once a crazy person" to "therefore that person is literally the sum total of feminism". Which is nonsensically delusional.

Because desiring that the female member of the pair of heroes has armor across her vulnerable midriff to match the rest of the heavy armor both she and her male counterpart are equipped with. You know, parity. Equality. Going with an option that's not as exploitative of female sexuality as eye candy to attract attention.

And I entirely support their creative decision, whatever it may have been. If they had stuck to their guns for creative or marketing reasons, you can make a sound argument for that. If however they instead take constructive social criticism under consideration and chose to edit the box art before release in order to appeal more to socially conscious and female customers? More power to them, and it's nice to see someone in the industry take a step towards less female sexual objectification; to not pick the low hanging fruit.

How does this box art change personally, negatively, affect you? Other than making it marginally harder for you to masturbate to it?

As long as the sexy armor options are still available, it's all good. Fucking stupid objectification issue annoys the fuck out of me. My bestie gets all lit up about this shit, but you should hear the noise come out of her when Jason Momoa puts his shirt back on. Tongue
