quite the unsettling thought actualy.

I've got a 1943 M1 Garand. It almost certainly served in WWII, and possibly in Korea. It quite probably killed a German or two.

It works, bitches.

The person who runs this thread is not around much, if at all, so you won't get much. Besides there are much more important things.

RE: Firearm Education Thread (lots of pics)
Split thread as this is thread is for a discussion/education on different types of firearms. Not a debate on if theyre a good idea or not.

For debate see this thread here. Or any of the other gun debate threads.

Thanks

RE: Firearm Education Thread (lots of pics)
I bought a used one of these today:

Beretta 92FS Inox; Stainless steel, 9mm Parabellum, 4.9" barrel, DA/SA action.

It came with a 10-round magazine - maximum in Massachusetts unless the magazine was made before 1995. So I bought a 15-round pre-ban magazine.

The Mauser C96 was the first widely popular semi-automatic pistol, whith around 1 million produced. It used a slightly different design from the C93, using a bolt traveling through a receiver, similar to a rifle. It was widely popular with militaries around the world.

That gun is the base for Han Solo's blaster from the Star Wars franchise. This is explained here (starts around minute 2:50):
