Doesn't make me wonder at all, TBH. It simply confirms it. Some people apparently somehow think the chinese in the past never found large dino fossil skeletons. While their country is littered with them. So of course they knew about them. The chinese have always known very well there had been large, draconic animals back in the mists of time. And they demonstrate that knowledge at every festival!

WITH FEATHERS, mind you! Big Grin

Quite a misleading title for this thread and that article, because of course the first feathered dinosaur fossils were NOT found in North America!

No, read as "Feathered Dinosaur Fossils Found in North America for First Time".

No, read as "Feathered Dinosaur Fossils Found in North America for First Time".

Or read as "Feathered Dinosaur First Fossils Found in North America"...
and possibly a number of other constructs. Point is: it is not clear and suggests something that is not so.
Very substandard English, in the best case scenario. Especially for professional journalists/writers or editors. Intentionally misleading, in the worst case scenario.

Don't get me started on 'professional journalists'. Have the media fired all of their editors?
