Perhaps the chemicals will kill the algae.

For a while now this kind of 'outrage' reporting has been becoming tedious.

It still has value if, as with Fox News, one knows that the presentation is part of an agenda ... so it acts as a trigger to go off and look for supporting or contradictory data.

But that's all it is. It's 'incident reporting' not journalism.

An extra step would have been to reveal whether the Regulation Commission had commissioned (pun intended) a scientific study (or ten) from actual scientists to determine the acceptable levels of these 20+ chemicals. Was it really just a whim?

And what is the make-up of that Commission and how are they funded? Are they people who take bribes from 'big' industry and care more about their pocket than the health of their children's children? Or are they environmental experts who know how to evaluate environmental data?

I had the same thought.

And was it bad of me to also wonder if the world might be better off with less Floridians?

Sorry FC and Aliza Blush

The republicunts won't be the ones swimming in the sludge. Those fuckers will be at their country club pools.
