There is a search function Wink

I used the 'search' function several times, only to come up with no results.

I didn't know the topic to post about Forex would be under "Politics". That just doesn't stand out to me. That's why I posted my thread in the Casual Coffeehouse.. didn't see anywhere else to put it.

The way I trade actually considers the moves you're talking about bad moves. I trade Price Action which focuses more directly on the history of price and it's repetition. The news can sometimes alter that price action and take traders like myself out of the game for a minute.

Bucky, you trade currency? Ballsy.

Pound drops below $1.35, reaching lowest level since 1985

Rarely, only with perfect chart set-up and an external "driver" (usually some sort of bad news).

So I suppose you were short the pound? Long Yen, long US treasuries, long gold?

No. Too complicated for me. I shorted the Euro.

I have to agree. I am not a friend of forex, I know too many people in the biz. But, this is really a great opportunity.
