I have no Facebook friends, but use Facebook to follow certain news companies (like the the New York Times), organizations (like NASA Climate Change), art museums (like The National Gallery), and people (like climatologist Michael Mann). Lots of interesting information is available that way.

Hello, sydarthur7.

It's a sad commentary that in 2017 we would still have to worry about negative social fallout from simply being identified as atheist, but there it is.

Someday, however, WE shall hold the reigns of power. BWAHAHAHA!!!! Evil_monster

Anyway, welcome to TTA! Wink

Welcome aboard. Or welcome abroad.....whichever.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Yes, and where I'm from it's pretty mild. I can't imagine how lonely I would feel in a deeply religious, oppressed community.

Yep. That is the best approach. FB is a useful tool if you can avoid all the other shit that comes with it.
