This. I've deleted several threads that I wouldn't otherwise have spotted - and banned several bots - due to reports from you guys. I read fast, but I don't have time to go through the entire forum constantly, and without the report system, a lot of spammers would slip through the cracks.

Thats something I could fix. I can disable the like statistics.. That way likes are only counted towards the posts themselves and the users like count is ignored.

Well hold on, let's not get crazy. Now that I'm in the running for highest likes/posts ratio, maybe we should just take off the Likes Given part.

I still don't like the "Blue". But I did just notice that the links were fixed. When I first joined, I couldn't get back to the forum after being in the store. and the home page was weird too. But Now, It works!

Yeah, those were manual edits I did recently. I fixed some of the minor bugs lurking in the system..

RE: Forum Improvements
So I was fooling around with my profile to make myself appear cooler to my new atheist peers in the hopes that they would like me more, when I noticed there were options for giving out your chat address, however there was none for the Gmail option. What up. I've never even used it, nor do I know how being technologically irrelevant, but if I wanted people to chat with me for some reason unbeknownst to me, how would I do this? Are you Gmail bigots? I wouldn't blame you. It watches everything you do you know. Anyway, I gotta go wear sunglasses indoors on a rainy day. Socks with sandals.

lol, gmail biggots?

I'm the one that implemented Google Apps for domains on thethinkingatheist.com
No it's just the defaults in the forum software. I'm going to get a forum chat system going eventually. It's just I've had allot of other stuff on my plate.

Working on thethinkingatheist store right now.. I'm giving it a major facelift to bring it in-line with the rest of the site. I'm copying over the new shop template this weekend. It should be awesome! Smile
It's allot of work!

woo!!!!

I'm not a non believer, I believe in the possibility of anything. I just don't let the actuality of something be determined by a 3rd party.

RE: Forum Improvements
Because I am a pest I will ask another question.

What is the possibility of having a special forum page for links to online resources and suggested reading/watching material that is accessible from the main page? So many of the intelligent folks on this forum site have already shown me oodles of valuable info that I have long since forgotten where to find in the forum. I think it would be great if we could grab it and put it all in one place for future reference, as well as a handy tool for defeating theists in word battles. And helping out any new on the fence members or visitors.

I know that technically if the info is already on the interwebs we should be able to just look it up... but the last time I tried that I was three pages of search in before I found something other than porn. Which means I had to look at all of those porn sites for hours upon hours before I got to anything useful, and really by then I was ready for a nap.

You could call it food for thought. Or something cool, like smoking.
