The forum already has the prototype js framework built in so I don't want to add the jquery framework to the mix.

I suppose I can change the code to:
this.cite='<cite>'+el.firstChild.innerHTML+'</cite>';
Blush Note to self... stop using that horrible mshtml rubbish code.

Sorry, didn't know you didn't have jquery, I had a different site on the brain..

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17008...in-firefox
Code:
function outerHTML(node){
    // if IE, Chrome take the internal method otherwise build one
  return node.outerHTML || (
      function(n){
          var div = document.createElement('div'), h;
          div.appendChild( n.cloneNode(true) );
          h = div.innerHTML;
          div = null;
          return h;
      })(node);
  }

That might work for you.

Too much info! There are lots of causes for itchyness in those areas and the underwear isn't always the cause... Tongue

Need more info. Is it only affecting PM's or other also forum post replies as well?

What browser are you using?
Do you have a weird browser plugin (other than your Mormon bible plugin) that could be interfering with stuff?

Maybe your new magic underwear is finally starting to kick in?

I just updated the module and made a few improvements. It should work more consistently/better now.

Yep, working on Aurora 7.0.1 on puppy as well. Cool beans. Uh, maybe you should check if the quote doesn't need to be collapsed... well, maybe not. Just make sure things work, I'll be happy with that. (EDIT: you do check, i just didn't notice that you collapse on smileys... oops)

DeepThought,

I do have a question. Why don't you have ssl to sign in (and maybe in user updates as well, but that would probably require a password every time)? Do you and it just doesn't go to https (I haven't checked that). I wouldn't even mind if we could use it and you didn't have a certificate on a registered agent (or whatever they are called, can never remember). As long as we have a way of masking the data flow for now. I don't use any pertinent passwords, but the more security the better. Are you on a site that can set up the ssl protocol if you already have a certificate or would it cost you?
