Four Hits Deep
So, I just came into some REALLY good LSD about a week ago. It just sort of fell into our laps.

Me, my partner in crime and a really good friend of ours started with two hits at five thirty in the evening. In about an hour, we were riding the coaster up and up.

We always prepare with fresh fruit, snacks, glow sticks and led balloons. Once we were well on our way, I put on Lateralus by Tool. I hadn't listened to that album in a really long time. Back in high school, I was a total Toolhead. In the years since, I've grown to not like them nearly as much, because of the pseudoscience and woo they're into, but this night reminded me that these guys are true ARTISTS. I stepped outside for a smoke and to write some things down in my journal. Things were already swaying and rippling. I was totally fixated on exactly how long it had been since we dosed. I could not do the math. It was like an hour and twenty minutes. I wrote down some observations, trying to describe everything (which is basically impossible).

I went back inside and they were coloring flowers in a coloring book with markers. I grabbed a banana and the decision was unanimously made to take another. I carefully cut the hits out (the blotter wasn't perforated :/). Then, soon after, we did another. We went outside again. By this time, I think The Dark Side of the Moon was playing. We were just talking about brains and crazy stuff. I suggested we watch the Parabola video. I've always heard you should watch it while tripping. Everyone was down.

We went in and I put it on. The beginning is very strange with weird, fat creatures. They were offputting to my gf and friend but it didn't bother me. Once the intro was over and the film really started, me and our friend couldn't look away. She had never heard of Tool. It was like watching it for the first time for me. It effected the entire room. Pulsing, rippling. By this time, I couldn't tell reality from hallucination. I physically felt the things I was seeing and the emotions I was feeling. It was like a warm chill that would start in a concentrated area somewhere on by body, which would spread quickly all over me. It was the most intense thing I've ever experienced. I watched, literally slack jawed until it was over.

Then, more Pink Floyd. We turned the lights off and glow sticks were everywhere. It was insane. It was like we were in our own microcosm, protected from the world outside. We laughed and laughed and laughed.

I went back out for a smoke and to take a break from the intensity. Friend came with me. From the music video to shortly after this was the peak. We we're out on the deck and evertything was just indescribable. She said, "Man, if you're seeing what I'm seeing right now!" To which I replied, "Man, if you can see what I'M seeing right now!" It was like lights would illuminate areas of trees and sky, then slowly move around and change everything.

My partner came out and we all group hugged and I was wanting another hit. Once saw how little was left, I sadly declined.

I heated up tacos from the night before and we ate voraciously. Then, while they colored some more, I read a couple of chapters from Alice in Wonderland. We had taken one hit three nights before to get a feel for the strength and I started the book that night. I picked up with the caucus race chapter and read about fifteen pages.

Then, I started coloring this turtle from one of the coloring books. We passed it around all night, taking turns. It turned out pretty cool and psychedelic.

Coming down, we put on There Will be Blood. I was going to change it to American Beauty, but once the first scene started with the giant pan of the desert amd those screeching violins, I could not change it. The plants would sway and dance and move around, Daniel Day Lewis's face was rippling and warping. It was great. This was by far, the best experience I've ever had.

I wrote this and I think it comes pretty close to oneness I was feeling with everything.

"I always feel like I'm peaking.
Things have an additional dimension.
Swaying, there are no silid lines,
no boundaries between any one thing
and another.
Warmth, chills, pulsing physically.

I am my environment,
existing, permeable,
liquid,
intermingling and resonating.

Movement between all things.
Sound,
Pink Floyd,
the walls.
Patterns emerging,
fading.
Concepts, ideas
fleeting and taking root.

Emotion expressed,
uninhibited.

My thoughts blend with the music
and the furniture.

Our microcosm."

And MILKSHAKES, the best thing to happen to tripping since LSD and psilocybin.

Wow that's a trip. Smile

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I don't know how anybody can eat when doing acid.....

I prefer my food not moving, or trying to communicate.............

Sweet story.

"If we are honest—and scientists have to be—we must admit that religion is a jumble of false assertions, with no basis in reality.
The very idea of God is a product of the human imagination."

Lol. I HAD to. I usually get ravenous and quite nauseous, so sometimes I know I NEED to eat, but can't. It depends on what food it is. Most things make me want to blow chunks everywhere, but I can eat tacos for the rest of my life.

I've never had anything talk to me. It's always been the same effects. This was definitely a level four out of five. I've always wanted stuff to talk to me. I want my subconscious to speak to me and tell me how it feels.

Big Grin glad you guys enjoyed the story.

Gagh, where the gh is voiced. Not to be confused with ghagh (gargle).

Please don't ask me to explain.
