Frank Zappa's debates
Not only one of the best musicians of the 20'th century, but a damn good speaker for free speech. I posted this just to showcase how amusing it is to watch him make his opponents run in circles. I wish he was still alive.

This is a well known one, the infamous PMRC hearing in 1985

This other one is on Crossfire in 1986, where he debates mainly John Lofton, one of biggest dumbasses I have ever seen talk. (Sorry, but I couldn't find a vid that had it all in one that had good audio)

RE: Frank Zappa's debates
Reminds me of the time I played the Velvet Underground's, "I am waiting for my man" and "Heroin" back to back for my children. I was more than a little bit stoned and the wife was away.

Exposure to words does no harm if it is tempered with exposure to consciousness.

I will also say I find much of "Rap" offensive in a very violent and misogynistic way. In a marginalized community "Rap" can and does do some serious harm. That is much more subtle and demands a much longer discussion. I will say I love "Fuck Da Police" by NWA.

Hey get out there and expose people. That is what words are for.

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

Yes, I still have the dream of being a dental floss tycoon. Yes
