Exodus 9:12 Wrote:But the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had spoken to Moses.

This is a great example of how God plays with someone's free will. Whenever I've brought this up to Christians they always say that Pharoah was going to say no anyway but fact is God made sure he couldn't say yes even after all those plagues and finally ending up having to kill all the first borns. He ended up killing innocent babies just because he made sure of it. Not only did he break someone mentally he went ahead and destroyed their people and then broke them emotionally. It's disturbing to think people go around saying he's "good", yeah right, whatever you say.

RE: Free will
This was a post from KC a while ago. Bear in mind that he is a Calvinist who is still a christian.

Romans 9 and 10
Ephesians 1
1 Thessalonians 1
Basically the entire Old Testament
Pretty much everything Jesus and Paul said

The Bible clearly teaches election. Free will is not a "thing". If a Christian thinks it is, they aren't reading and following the Bible.

"If we are honest—and scientists have to be—we must admit that religion is a jumble of false assertions, with no basis in reality.
The very idea of God is a product of the human imagination."

That's literally already laid out, the books, from this thread from a post quote of kc.

Side note, why wouldn't you believe Thomas Aquinas was a prophet of god, it's the good characteristics.

i just learned that actually. That it doesn't state free will in the bible. Shortly after making the post I googled what the bible said about free will and it's like preachers take a verse and twist it.
